TULIPS IN THE ROUND

I had my concerns about this one as it was going together; worried it was going to be too busy because of the sashing, but when everything was said and done I loved it.  I like using black in my quilts, and any fabric with cherries on it is a friend of mine.  The appliqué was fun to do and I gave it to my sweet friend and teaching companion, Ann Martinez.  I may do this one again in the future.

SAILING, SAILING

You can't tell unless you enlarge this, but the fabrics on this appliqué quilt have little sailboats and other nautical themes on them.  I liked the addition of turqouise to the traditional red, navy, and white.

OLDIE BUT GOODY

I am trying to get caught up a bit on posting some of the quilts I have made.  This is a Quilt Soup pattern that I have made several times our of various types of fabrics.  I like having the non-symmetrical borders.  I used the Cherry Fizz fabrics by Quilt Soup.

HEARTS AND FLOWERS

I found an appliqué pattern by Laurie Bird, then changed and adapted it to come up with this quilt.  I adore the colors and patterns in these fabrics.  This quilt spends time a bed toppers on some of the beds in our home.

Hearts and Baskets

This was taken from a pattern by Laurie Bird, but I adapted and changed it to suit me better.  I can't remember the line of fabrics I used for this appliqué but I adore the color combinations as well as the fabric patterns. This quilt spends time as a topper on beds at my house.

SUMMERTIME

I love this summertime quilt featuring fabrics from Quilt Soup.  I put it on my bed as a topper for the summer months. The flowers are all done with needle turn appliqué.

Table runner for Diana

UNDER THE SEA

Baby quilt for a little boy.  Fun bubbles have been quilted into this creation.

Rainy Days

I have a friend who has been experiencing some tough challenges.  These umbrellas represent the fact that our Heavenly Father and His plan are always here to protect and shield us from the rains that fall in our lives.

Sarah's quilt

Traditional basic pattern with funky modern fabrics.  Sarah Connors Peterson is having another little one and this will add to her collection.
